4x4boyz.com took part at one of Hawaii’s fastest growing Car Shows in Hawaii. This is the first time “trail-ready” trucks will be featured on RTI Ramps at a local car show. No 22” inch rims, blinding chrome, and blinged out rides here, nothing but “real” trucks with dents, scratches, and carnage from being on the trails.
With the 4x4 Community growing, 4x4boyz.com and the Oahu Jeepers attended the St. Patrick’s Day parade to spread the word regarding how to be responsible while on the trails.
Chad Reis a Super-Moderator of 4x4boyz.com decided to do a cleanup at Haubush. He worked with people from J&N Chevrolet, 4 Wheel Parts Hawaii, and Monster Drinks to bring together one of the years most massive clean-ups done by a group of people. The Oahu Jeepers came out to lend a hand as well as Campbell High School volunteers and even good Samaritans who heard of the news. The boyz were able to drag out abandoned vehicles and pile up a mountain of trash for the State to pick up. Once again what would’ve cost the State hundreds of dollars to tow these vehicles out 4x4boyz and the Oahu Jeepers did it for free.
A good friend of mine had a son that was stricken with a brain tumor that turned into cancer. The boy was only 5 years old and from speaking to my friend this was hitting them hard not only personally but also financially. I gathered the guys together and worked with 4 Wheel Parts Hawaii and we threw Dylan a Benefit Concert to assist the family with their financial burdens.
We chose to do this not to be in the spotlight or even get the word out regarding the community but because majority of the 4x4boyz.com Members have children themselves, it was just something we were all moved to do.
Kaena Point / Mokuleia got a good cleaning from the 4x4boyz and 4 Wheel Parts Hawaii crew. Some of the boyz towed out abandoned vehicles and heavy junk from areas that only our modified vehicles could go. Although we had no news coverage we went ahead and created our own – click here!
4x4boyz.com wanted to do something for the children of Hawaii and worked with the Toys-For-Tots Charity Organization. We held a toy drive and a free concert featuring Hawaii’s own Inoa’ Ole for anyone who brought a toy. We were able to gather a few truckloads of toys and put smiles on the faces of Hawaii‘s Children.
4x4boyz.com was one of the featured sponsors at DJ Paul Brandon’s CD release part at Pipeline and Zanzabar Night Club.
To get the word out about 4x4boyz.com Sam the Man from 1027 Da Bomb’s Morning Show staged a call where a guy claimed to change his name to 4x4boyz.com. People were calling in and couldn’t believe it, many knew it was a marketing spoof but it was all in fun!
This was the 1st attempt to get the word out regarding 4x4boyz.com. It was hilarious and the site visits grow immensely, and so it began – the very first online community that opened it’s doors to all who enjoy the sport of off-roading - this silly 1st attempt to get the word out was what we believe that placed the “4x4boyz.com” name on the map! Basically, the buzz was out.
